For Founders

We back late-seed and Series A teams turning real-world productivity gaps into repeatable products and revenue. If you’re shipping into messy environments and can show measurable ROI, we want to hear from you.

What we back

Stage

Late seed or Series A with paid pilots or early production revenue, named customers, and a clear path to repeatable installs. You’re raising to scale deployments, tighten unit economics, and professionalise operations and governance.

Focus

Applied intelligence: autonomy & perception, human-in-the-loop/teleop systems, intelligent platforms that do useful work, and edge-AI components. We favour products with a software-first roadmap and safety-critical, real-world use.

Environment

Outside the lab - air, sea and land. Systems should perform reliably in unstructured or GPS-denied settings, with a documented safety case, serviceability, and an install/ops playbook that makes rollouts repeatable.

Business model

Modular hardware opens the door; software, services and data compound value after install. We expect gross margins to improve via OTA updates, orchestration, analytics and growing service revenue.

Defensibility

Moats that strengthen with every deployment: proprietary datasets, control stacks, workflows and deep customer integration. Switching costs should rise and performance improve as fleets grow, shortening cycles and deepening advantage.

Customers & pilots
We open doors to operators, integrators and OEMs, then help you shape a pilot that proves safety, uptime and payback. Together we craft the safety case, install playbook and service plan so deployments are repeatable. We also set up the data and ROI capture that turns a successful pilot into a clear production rollout.

Round design
We structure rounds that balance angels, strategics and funds, keep the cap table clean and align incentives to milestones. That includes reserves planning, ESOP setup, information rights, and governance that supports fast execution without surprises at the next raise.

Go-to-market
We tune pricing and payback for small-scale profitability, not just future volume. Expect work on unit economics, service tiers, SLAs and a land-install-expand motion. We help define post-install software/Services revenue, sales compensation, and pipeline hygiene so forecasts are real.

Hiring & ops
We help recruit senior talent, form an effective board, and install the processes that move you from POC to repeatable installs - program management, QA, serviceability, support and compliance. The result is a team and operating rhythm built to scale safely in the real world.

How we help (beyond capital)

What great looks like

Deployment proof
Systems run reliably outside the lab in GPS denied and other unstructured settings. Serviceability is in place with remote diagnostics, spare parts, and tracked mean time between failure and mean time to repair. The safety case and operating procedures are proven in the field.

Payback
Unit economics show payback in under 12-18 months at low volumes. Total cost of ownership beats the current process. Margins improve after install through software, telemetry, and services.

Repeatability
An install playbook, trained operators, and a support and spares plan make deployments predictable. The same process repeats across sites without heroics.

Moat
Each deployment strengthens defensibility through proprietary data, improving models, deeper workflow integrations, and compliance assets. Switching costs rise and advantage widens over time.

Pipeline
Named customers, budgeted projects, and a forecastable backlog of installs. Buyer pull is visible through co funded pilots, signed master service agreements, or letters of intent.

We invest in applied intelligence at late seed and Series A.

Qualify

Send your deck and a short note on where you are today. Within two business days we confirm fit on stage, customer proof, performance outside the lab, payback, team, and round basics. If it looks right, we agree the fastest evidence to review, such as a field video, uptime data, or a simple payback model. All materials are treated in confidence.

Prove and Plan

We run focused working sessions on the product and the business. Together we map the architecture, sensing and control, install and service plan, safety case, and performance in real settings. We tune pricing, margin, and payback at small scale and outline the go to market plan that turns first sites into a repeatable programme.

Commit and Execute

Short diligence sprints cover customer references, reliability records, regulatory path, cap table, and governance. We then share a term sheet with ownership goals, a reserves plan, and a clear reporting cadence. After signing we agree a ninety day plan for customers, hiring, and deployment metrics such as uptime, payback, and recurring revenue. We stay hands on so you can scale safely in the real world.
